We have helped numerous swimmers improve their stroke technique and efficiency in the water. We have trained athletes to compete in open water swim races and Age Group triathlon competitions ranging from try-a-tri events right up to full ironman distance races.
Not all of our participants are preparing for competitive races. Many swimmers join us primarily for fitness. Every year numerous EDGE athletes set personal bests and achieve individual fitness goals.
Sessions range from 2-3km of swimming including warm up, drills, a main set of intervals and cool down. Coaches modify volume and intensity based on athlete ability level.
New athletes are always welcome. Take the opportunity to train with like minded individuals in a group setting with an experienced coach.
This program runs for 9 months from September 6th to May 30th. Registration fees are based on the number of sessions per week a swimmer trains and are broken down into monthly instalments as follows:
1 session weekly - $65.00 + HST per month
2 sessions weekly - $115.00 + HST per month
First month payment is due at the time of registration. Invoices will be sent monthly thereafter. If you prefer to pay by e-transfer for the first month, please email us and we will issue an invoice.

In order to take part in our program we ask that all swimmers are able to complete two lengths of the pool (50m) without stopping and without grabbing onto lane ropes or side walls. Ideally, swimmers are able to complete multiple lengths. If participants are unable to complete multiple lengths we would require them to use fins to start the program. Fins are a recommended piece of equipment for all of our swimmers, regardless of ability level, for many of the skills/drills that our coaches prescribe.
