Our track and cross country program welcomes youth aged 5-18 looking for a fun, social and challenging training environment to get fit and prepare for school and club meets.
This program is also focused on providing the competitive pathway for runners with an interest in pursuing track and cross country events at the highest level. We have a proven track record of delivering results for high performing athletes. We've won multiple OFSAA medals, numerous DSBN and Regional championships and our U18 Boys are the current Provincial and National cross country champions.
The EDGE Sport Track Club is an Athletics Ontario and Athletics Canada sanctioned club which allows our athletes to compete at sanctioned track & cross country meets outside of school.
This program runs year round and is broken down into 4 seasonal training blocks (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Each block is 3 months in duration, offering 12 weeks of training sessions. Pricing is based on the number of sessions attended per week as follows:
1 session per week - $160.00 + HST
2 sessions per week - $300.00 + HST
3 sessions per week - $420.00 + HST

High School Mid/Long Distance Group - Choose from 2-3 sessions weekly for the Winter. Twice weekly option has the flexibility of attending any combination of Monday, Tuesday or Thursday each week.
Elementary School Mid/Long Distance Group - We encourage all of our younger athletes to register for our Speed & Agility sessions on Fridays. A limited number of spots will also be available during our Monday indoor track sessions from 6:30-7:30pm. If interested, please reach out to us at info@edgesport.ca
* NEW * Sprints & Hurdles Group - We now offer sprints and hurdles led by Canadian national sprint-hurdler Kendra Leger. Not only has Kendra competed internationally for Canada on multiple occasions, she has also coached up and coming youth athletes in developing their speed, power and technique for events from 60m to 400m. She is an excellent addition to the Edge team and is excited to work with the next generation of Niagara sprinters.
These sessions will take place on Sundays from 12-1 pm at the Canada Games Park indoor track starting January 26th. The Winter Indoor program will run for 9 weeks. The cost is $120.00 + HST. As we move outdoors in March we will begin offering these sessions multiple days per week. Intro to Competitive (Ages 5-9) Sprint Development (Ages 10-18).

Ever since joining Edge my running performance has seen massive improvements. The challenging training routine, excellent coaches, and fantastic teammates all lead to an amazing atmosphere to grow and evolve in. The program is well thought through and executed to help anyone excel in the area of endurance sport.
This program is designed for kids who love to get out and ride. Sessions take place in a large closed traffic parking lot where we teach kids the technical skills required to safely ride on the roads. We work with them on cornering techniques, proper braking, pack riding and other useful skills to ride confidently.
